The 22/45 Lite configuration pairs a gold-anodized aluminum upper with diagonal lightening cuts and a black glass-filled polymer frame. This combination keeps weight to about 22.8 oz while maintaining the familiar 22/45 grip pattern with replaceable, checkered panels with molded Ruger roundels.
Its 4.4" tensioned barrel uses a stainless-steel liner for durability and a 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzle with a knurled protector. The straight-blowback, semi-automatic action is chambered in .22 LR with a standard 10+1 capacity.
Sighting is straightforward and precise with a fixed ramped front blade and a fully adjustable rear target sight. The upper receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base; on this example, at least two filler screws are missing.
Controls and safety features include a manual thumb safety and a left-side loaded chamber indicator window. The 22/45 grip geometry and replaceable panels offer a familiar interface for consistent handling.
This example is the launch colorway of the Lite series, manufactured in 2012, and comes complete with two factory magazines, the Ruger soft case, the original box with end label, and the Mark III/22/45 instruction manual.
