The AOS optics interface uses a removable cover plate and supports plate-based mounting, giving the slide clean lines when the plate is installed. The slide adds front and rear cocking serrations and longitudinal top anti-glare serrations, with dovetailed front blade and low-profile ledge rear sights.
The Carry Contour configuration brings a rounded, bobbed heel to the TRP profile. Checkering on the frontstrap and mainspring housing pairs with aggressive gray/black textured grip panels for a firm purchase. An ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory pad provide familiar 1911 controls.
The forged aluminum alloy frame keeps weight to approximately 27.3 oz while retaining a 3-slot accessory rail. Inside, the single-action, locked-breech 1911 platform is complemented by a skeletonized aluminum trigger.
This 9mm TRP reflects the line's heritage drawn from features of the FBI Professional Model and is part of the refreshed TRP family, expanded with AOS and 9mm options.
