What’s Included
- Thompson/Center factory box with matching-serial label (Encore Pro Hunter 209x50 M/L)
The Pro Hunter 209x50 Magnum is built on the Encore modular switch-barrel platform, giving this inline muzzleloader the well-known break-action design with a top-tang opening lever and an external hammer. It is configured for 209 shotgun primers and includes a removable breech plug for straightforward maintenance. The barrel is clearly marked to use black powder or Pyrodex only (no smokeless).
The 28 inch barrel wears a matte stainless finish to match the receiver, and it is drilled and tapped. An under-barrel ramrod is fitted, and two shallow relief cuts are present near the muzzle. Fiber-optic iron sights come standard, with a red front and an adjustable green rear for bright sight alignment.
The stock is a durable synthetic camo with black rubber inlays and rubberized grip inserts for secure handling. A LimbSaver recoil pad and sling swivel studs are installed, and the length of pull measures 14.5 inches, offering a comfortable, stable mount.
Manufactured in the USA; the barrel is origin-stamped Rochester, New Hampshire. The receiver carries TC logos/"Pro Hunter" markings and the serial, but no Rochester, NH origin stamp. The external hammer and break-action operation make loading and unloading direct and intuitive for an inline muzzleloader.
