Product Description

Cugir TTC 7.62x25mm Tokarev, 1956 Romanian, Blued, 4.6 in Barrel, Matching Numbers

This Romanian-made Cugir TTC, produced in 1956, is a full-size Tokarev-pattern pistol chambered in 7.62x25mm. It features matching serial numbers on the frame and slide, an all-steel blued construction, and clear Century Arms import markings. The pistol retains its lanyard ring and comes with one 8-round magazine.

Made in Romania, this example includes a frame-mounted manual safety added for U.S. import, fixed iron sights, and ribbed black grips with star medallions. The 4.6 inch barrel, single-action operation, and classic Tokarev layout make it a straightforward, period-correct sidearm from the 1950s.

Specific Condition Notes: The pistol shows scattered cosmetic scratches, small blemishes, and areas of finish loss. The bore presents a bright, shiny appearance.

    What’s Included

    • Cugir TTC 7.62x25mm Tokarev pistol
    • 1x 8-round Tokarev TTC/TT-33 pattern single-stack steel magazine

Produced in 1956 at the Cugir factory, this TTC is a Romanian variant of the Tokarev design with Century Arms International import marks. The left-side markings read C.A.I. GEORGIA VT. MADE IN ROMANIA MOD. TTC CAL.

7.62x25, and the pistol also carries the triangle arsenal mark. Matching serial numbers on the frame and slide add desirable continuity for a mid-century service pistol.

The pistol follows the Tokarev pattern with a single-action, short-recoil, locked-breech system and an 8+1 capacity. It is constructed of steel with a blued finish and includes rear vertical slide serrations, a spurred external hammer, right-side ejection port, and a lanyard ring at the heel.

Sighting is simple and robust: a fixed front blade paired with a drift-adjustable rear notch in a dovetail. The ribbed black plastic grips with star medallions complete the correct period look and feel. The 4.6 inch barrel provides the expected sight radius for a full-size sidearm.

This example includes a frame-mounted manual safety added for U.S. import compliance, a common requirement on imported Tokarev-pattern pistols. Made in Romania and built to a straightforward military pattern, it presents as a solid 1950s Cugir production piece with clear import and arsenal markings.
