This Tisas 1911A1 Tanker pairs a Commander-length 4.25 in slide and barrel with a full-size grip frame, delivering a classic .45 ACP configuration with dependable features. It is a forged-steel, Series 70-pattern pistol finished in matte black Cerakote, with GI-pattern fixed sights and clean, purposeful slide cuts. It comes with three 8-round magazines and shows very good overall condition with an excellent, bright bore.

The Tanker configuration features a 4.25 in Commander-length slide and barrel on a Government-length grip frame for familiar 1911 handling. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and this example includes three 8-round steel magazines.
Construction is forged steel for both slide and frame, finished in a matte black Cerakote for durability. The barrel is hammer-forged and chrome-plated, fitted with a standard 1911 barrel bushing, and paired with a short recoil spring plug with a checkered face.
Controls and sights follow a purposeful GI-style layout: fixed GI-pattern front and rear sights, a single-sided (left) manual thumb safety, a grip safety, an arched mainspring housing with vertical serrations, and a lightly beveled magazine well. It uses a short, solid trigger with a spur hammer. The ejection port is lowered and flared, and the slide has rear-only vertical serrations.
This is a Series 70-pattern pistol with no firing-pin block, single-action only operation, and classic 1911 ergonomics. Markings include "1911A1 TANKER" on the slide and ".45 ACP" on the barrel hood. It is imported by SDS Imports, Knoxville, TN, with proof/import marks "SDS KNOXVILLE TN" and "ZIG M45 TISAS-TURKEY." Country of origin is Turkey.
