The Blackwater Special Edition adds distinctive branding, including the paw logo on the slide and Blackwater medallions in the dark laminated wood grips with pebble-texture inlays. Construction and markings are correct for the series: an aluminum alloy frame with black hard-coat anodizing and a stainless slide with a black finish, marked "SIG SAUER P226 STAINLESS." The barrel hood is marked "9mm Para." The frame is marked "FRAME MADE IN GERMANY" with import marking "SIGARMS INC. EXETER NH."
Operational features include traditional DA/SA with a decocking lever, an exposed spurred hammer, and a reversible magazine release.
