The slide and barrel are stainless steel with a durable black nitrided finish. The polymer frame is supported by a stainless internal chassis for rigidity. A loaded-chamber viewport on the barrel hood provides a quick visual check.
Controls and handling features include an articulated safety trigger, trigger safety, and the S&W sear deactivation lever for simplified takedown. The slide has rear, scalloped serrations for positive manipulation. The pistol bears the factory caution marking "CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED," indicating there is no magazine disconnect.
Sights are low-profile and dovetailed, with a white dot front sight and a dovetailed rear. The frame wears Shield-pattern texturing for a secure grip, and this configuration does not include an accessory rail.
