The FDE slide features front and rear cocking serrations and FN's Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System with a removable cover plate. The LPOMS is designed for direct mounting of compatible MRDs and is co-witness capable with the installed suppressor-height iron sights. The front sight uses a white-dot insert for fast indexing.
The FDE polymer frame includes a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail, textured grip surfaces, ambidextrous slide-stop levers, and a lanyard hole at the heel. This model is striker-fired with short-recoil operation and does not include an external manual thumb safety.
