What’s Included
- A. Uberti Model 1851 Navy .36 caliber percussion revolver
Uberti’s reproduction retains the period-correct open-top frame design and wedge-retained barrel assembly that define the original 1851 Navy. The under-barrel loading lever with latch supports cap-and-ball operation, while the brass bead front sight aligns with the hammer-notch rear sight for a classic sight picture.
Materials and finishes are true to the pattern: the carbon steel octagonal barrel and steel cylinder are blued, and the steel frame, hammer, and receiver are color case-hardened. The revolver wears a one-piece varnished walnut grip, with a brass trigger guard and backstrap completing the traditional look.
The six-shot steel cylinder carries the naval battle scene, distinctly marked "ENGAGED 16 MAY 1843," adding historical character. Single-action operation and the .36 caliber chambering follow the original configuration.
Made in Italy, this revolver bears Italian proof-house and CIP-compliant markings. It is a true reproduction of the Colt 1851 Navy, produced by A. Uberti in 2014.
