The 1911 Mil-Spec platform delivers a traditional Government-size configuration with single-action operation in .45 ACP. It features a forged carbon steel frame and slide with a Parkerized finish, an arched mainspring housing, a spur hammer, and checkered wood grip panels secured by slotted screws.
The current barrel setup is a custom installed extended threaded barrel with an overall length of approximately 5.75 inches. It retains a standard 1911 barrel bushing and a GI-style recoil spring plug. The barrel hood is rollmarked ".45 ACP."
Sight regulation is through fixed 3-dot sights, with a single-dot front and a two-dot rear. The slide is configured with rear cocking serrations only, with no front serrations, matching the Mil-Spec pattern.
Factory markings include the right-side slide "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" with the crossed-cannons crest and a left-side "MIL-SPEC" legend. The frame is rollmarked "SI GENESEO IL USA." This example was made in the United States.
Capacity is 7+1 with the included steel single-stack magazine. Safety features include a grip safety and a manual thumb safety consistent with the 1911 design.
