The 7 inch steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-prong flash hider, giving this DB15 a compact profile while maintaining 5.56 NATO capability. The ejection-port cover is marked "5.56" and "NATO," and the rifle uses a standard AR-15 rotating bolt with direct-impingement operation.
A Diamondback-marked, free-float aluminum KeyMod handguard provides a continuous top Picatinny rail for mounting. The handguard integrates QD sling sockets clearly labeled "Q.D." to support quick sling attachment without additional adapters.
The flat-top upper includes a forward assist, case deflector, and dust cover. Receivers and handguard wear a matte gray finish, and the upper carries an "A" forging mark. Diamondback shield logos, "DB15," and "CAL. MULTI" markings are present on the receivers.
