This 2016 Ruger AR-556 pairs a 16 inch 4140 chrome-moly steel threaded barrel with a flat-top receiver and classic A2-style front sight base. It features a carbine-length gas system, a 1:8 twist for 5.56 NATO, and Ruger-marked components throughout. The rifle is in very good condition and comes with two 30-round magazines, including a Magpul PMAG.

The receiver is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish in black, and is marked "RUGER MAYODAN, NC USA." The flat-top upper provides a continuous Picatinny rail, and the rifle includes a forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port dust cover. A Ruger-logo charging handle is installed.
The 16 inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly steel, is threaded, and capped with an A2-type birdcage flash suppressor. A 1:8 twist supports a broad range of 5.56 NATO bullet weights. The carbine-length gas system and A2-pattern fixed front sight base deliver a familiar, proven configuration.
The furniture includes a collapsible, adjustable polymer stock with a textured buttplate and an A2-style pistol grip. The carbine-length, two-piece polymer handguard uses delta-ring retention and features Ruger roundel medallions.
