This SIG Sauer 716i TREAD is a large-frame AR-10 chambered in 7.62x51 NATO with a 16 inch nitride-treated, threaded barrel and SIG's two-stage Matchlite Duo trigger. It stands out with a slick-side upper (no forward assist), a free-float M-LOK TREAD handguard with a continuous 1913 top rail, and a precision-upgraded Magpul PRS Gen3 adjustable stock already installed. Forged aluminum receivers, a 1:10 twist, and a factory three-prong flash hider round out a well-specified, US-made rifle.

The 716i TREAD uses a direct-impingement operating system with a rotating multi-lug bolt, paired to forged aluminum receivers finished in hard-anodized black. The upper is the slick-side pattern with an ejection-port cover and no forward assist, keeping the profile clean while retaining the essential features.
Its 16 inch carbon-steel barrel is nitride-treated for durability and threaded 5/8x24, with a factory three-prong flash hider installed. The barrel is marked 7.62 NATO 1:10, and the 1:10 twist is well-suited to a wide range of .30-caliber projectiles.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK TREAD handguard provides stable accessory mounting and features a continuous 1913 top rail that aligns with the receiver for optics placement. A SIG SAUER-branded textured polymer pistol grip offers positive control.
Controls and feel are enhanced by SIG's two-stage Matchlite Duo trigger. The installed Magpul PRS Gen3 precision-adjustable stock adds an adjustable cheek rest and adjustable length of pull, allowing fine fitment; length of pull is listed at 15.0 inches.
Capacity is 20+1 with the included Magpul PMAG LR/SR Gen M3. Factory markings include SIG SAUER INC, NEWINGTON, NH, USA and the SIG circular logo on the magwell, with MULTI-CALIBER on the magwell.
