The FNX-45 Tactical is a full-size .45 ACP with a DA/SA system, external spurred hammer, and a curved trigger. It employs fully ambidextrous controls, including the safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release. Interchangeable backstraps allow grip tailoring to the shooter.
The 5.3 in cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel is threaded 0.578x28 RH and arrives with a thread protector installed. The FDE slide includes front and rear cocking serrations and is factory optics-ready, supplied with mounting plates and an Apex Tactical optics mounting plate installed (factory flat cover plate not installed/shown).
Suppressor-height 3-dot night sights deliver a clear, elevated sight picture. The FDE polymer frame integrates a multi-slot accessory rail on the dustcover for lights or other compatible accessories.
Capacity is rated at 15+1, and this example includes two 15-round magazines. The slide is marked "FN Columbia, SC USA," and both the slide and frame feature matching FDE finishes.
