Factory markings are present, including Winchester circled "WP" proof marks on the barrel and receiver ring. The barrel address rollmark reads "MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CONN." The tang legend is "MODEL 1892" over "TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT.
OFF & FGN." The barrel is marked "Model 92" while the tang is marked "Model 1892."
The rifle is built on carbon steel with a blued finish. It wears a straight-grip walnut stock capped by a steel crescent buttplate and a walnut forend with a steel forend cap. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches.
