Product Description

Stevens 520-30 U.S. Trench Gun, WWII 12 Gauge Pump, 20" Barrel, U.S.-Marked with Ordnance Bomb Proofs

This Stevens Mod. 520-30 U.S. Trench Gun is a WWII-era 12 gauge pump-action built in the original trench-gun configuration and marked for U.S. service. It carries the correct U.S.

receiver marking along with Ordnance flaming-bomb proofs on both barrel and receiver, plus P proof and S inspector stamps. The gun retains its distinctive double-hump receiver with right-side external slide link and takedown design, and it includes the original perforated steel heat shield with bayonet lug (uninstalled). A non-standard Weaver choke/compensator with bead front sight is currently installed.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.

Bore Condition: Fair - Generally clean, some residue or smudges, slight corrosion.

Wood furniture shows handling wear, dings, and scratches. The magazine tube exhibits extensive finish loss. There is a personal engraving on the bottom of the receiver. The installed Weaver choke/compensator is seized on the barrel threads and does not come off.

    What’s Included

    • Weaver choke muzzle device with integrated bead front sight (installed)
    • Perforated steel trench-gun heat shield with integral bayonet lug and front sling loop (uninstalled)

Built as the U.S. trench-gun variant of the Stevens 520-30, this shotgun dates to the WWII period (1942–1943) and features the model’s recognizable double-hump receiver profile and right-side external slide link. It is a takedown pump-action design, retaining the original trench-gun configuration elements and layout.

Authentic U.S. martial markings are present: the left side of the receiver is marked U.S., and both the barrel and receiver carry Ordnance flaming-bomb proofs. Additional government acceptance and inspection stamps include a P proof and S inspector mark, supporting its WWII service pattern.
