The Pivot's rotating upper receiver enables a compact 20.9 in folded length for storage and transport, then locks into a conventional configuration with an overall length of 26.7–29.7 in when opened. A pivot safety interlock is built in to support safe operation of the folding mechanism.
The 16 in barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and includes a knurled thread protector. Its tapered-shoulder muzzle system is designed for taper-shoulder devices; use a taper washer if installing a flat-shoulder device.
Controls are user-friendly and ambidextrous, including the magazine release and safety. A right-side, knurled charging handle offers positive purchase. The stated capacity is 15+1 using Glock-compatible double-stack magazines, and one 15-round magazine is included.
