The PX4 Storm Compact uses Beretta's short-recoil rotating-barrel action in a DA/SA, hammer-fired format, paired with an exposed spurred hammer. The slide has a light gray finish and includes front and rear cocking serrations, ambidextrous slide-mounted levers, and dovetailed sights.
The frame is a black, fiberglass-reinforced technopolymer with textured grips and interchangeable backstraps for fit tuning. A reversible magazine release and an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker support left- or right-handed operation.
Sights are dovetailed with a windage-adjustable rear. The front is a blade with a colored dot insert.
This compact model carries a 3.27" steel barrel and a 15+1 capacity. The dustcover integrates a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail. Markings include GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY and BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK, MD, with IT21 proof.
The serial number is repeated on the slide, barrel hood, and frame plate.
