The R7 Mako series pairs a micro-size polymer frame with a stainless slide finished in black FNC and a bright stainless barrel, delivering a durable build in a compact 9mm Luger package. The right side of the dustcover is molded with "KIMBER TROY, AL USA."
The optics-ready slide features an integral cut and accepts the Shield-pattern micro red-dot footprint; on this pistol the mounting pad is exposed with no cover plate installed. It also includes front and rear cocking serrations and an enclosed top ejection port window.
The 3.37 in stainless barrel uses a 1:10 LH twist. The striker-fired, short-recoil operated action uses a flat-faced trigger with an integral safety blade, and there is no external manual thumb safety.
Steel TruGlo day/night sights include a high-visibility orange-ring front blade and a TG-H3-marked rear notch. A micro accessory rail with a single slot offers space for a compact light or similar rail-mounted accessory.
