The TRS Commander is part of the TRS series and built on a double-stack 1911 platform for 17+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. Its wide-body grip uses aggressive circular scale texturing with Nighthawk hawk-logo medallions for a secure, repeatable hold.
The commander-length slide features front and rear cocking serrations. The match-grade bull barrel is bushingless with a recessed crown, emphasizing a tight, consistent lockup in a compact 4.25 in format.
This pistol uses Nighthawk's IOS cut with the iron-sight plate installed. Sight picture comes from a Trijicon tritium front and a Heinie serrated ledge rear integral to the IOS plate. An additional IOS plate with the Trijicon RMR footprint is included (bagged) for mounting an optic if desired.
The frame employs a monolithic full-length dustcover with an accessory rail (one cross-slot). Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, paired with a skeletonized spur (commander-style) hammer for a familiar, duty-ready 1911 interface.
Made in the USA under the One Gun, One Gunsmith process, this example ships with two 17-round magazines and supporting factory documentation, including a test target dated July 15, 2024.
