The build is finished with a McMillan composite stock and a Jewell adjustable trigger, and it comes topped with a Carl Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 MC scope.

Built on a Remington Model 700 action, this custom single-shot .223 Rem was completed by Darrel Holland and features Holland's Vee-Block bedding system for a rigid, stress-free fit. The barrel is engraved "Hollands Vee-Block System 223 Rem." The configuration prioritizes stability and consistency, with a 1-round capacity and dedicated single-shot loading.
The 22-inch heavy-contour barrel is free-floated and capped with a radial-port muzzle brake. This setup helps manage muzzle movement and keeps the barrel clear of stock contact. The metal shows a two-tone finish—matte silver barrel and radial-port muzzle brake paired with a matte dark receiver/action and rail.
The McMillan fiberglass/composite stock is finished in textured green and includes a straight comb, a wide beavertail fore-end, and sling swivel studs. The stock pairs with the Vee-Block bedding to provide a solid foundation and repeatable action fit.
A Jewell adjustable trigger is installed for precise control. Optics are already in place: a Carl Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 MC scope with a precision-oriented reticle, target turrets with precise click adjustments, and MC multicoating, all mounted on a one-piece Picatinny rail with rings. The rifle has no iron sights. The bolt face uses a plunger ejector with a small extractor.
