The FNX-45 is a full-size .45 ACP with a 15+1 double-stack magazine, offering DA/SA operation with a manual safety and decocker that supports cocked-and-locked carry. True ambidextrous controls cover the safety/decocker, slide stop, and magazine release.
Construction includes a stainless-steel slide and a polymer frame with steel slide-rail inserts, plus an external spurred hammer. The slide has front and rear serrations, and this example also shows lightening cuts. Fixed combat sights are installed.
The 4.5 inch non-threaded barrel uses a 1:16 RH twist. An integral multi-slot accessory rail on the frame supports lights or lasers, and a lanyard loop is fitted at the grip.
This pistol has been custom-painted in a mix of green and gold. It retains the FNX ergonomics with interchangeable backstraps and includes one 15-round magazine with a steel body and polymer base plate. It was manufactured by FN America in Columbia, South Carolina.
