The 950 BS is a single-action-only, blowback-operated design with a tip-up barrel that allows loading and unloading the chamber without racking the slide. It omits a conventional extractor and ejects via blowback using a fixed ejector. An exposed spurred hammer, a manual thumb safety, and an inertia firing pin complete the fire-control setup.
Construction is light and durable, pairing a carbon steel barrel with an aluminum alloy frame. The closed-top slide with rear cocking serrations contributes to the model's distinctive profile and smooth cycling. Size is truly micro, making this Jetfire compact while retaining practical handling characteristics.
Sighting is straightforward, with a small integral front blade on the barrel and a shallow rear notch. Black checkered plastic grips feature Beretta medallions and a '25 JETFIRE' disk, matching the period-correct Jetfire aesthetic.
Markings include the right-side slide rollmark 'MADE BERETTA USA CORP., ACKK, MD.' The included factory magazine is Italian-made and correctly marked. Capacity is 8+1 rounds, and the barrel measures 2.4 inches, aligning with the Jetfire's role as a highly compact .25 ACP pistol.
