Traditions Sporter 209 Mag In-Line .50 Cal Muzzleloader, 22.5 in Blued Barrel, TRUGLO Sights, Synthetic Stock
This Traditions Sporter 209 Mag In-Line stands out with its 22.5 inch blued steel barrel, 1:28 twist, and TRUGLO fiber-optic sights for fast sight acquisition. It is a single-shot in-line muzzleloader that uses 209 shotgun primers, features a gray synthetic stock with molded checkering and a recoil pad, and includes a short Weaver-style scope base installed on the barrel along with the factory under-barrel ramrod. Markings include "MADE IN SPAIN" and "OLD SAYBROOK, CT U.S.A." As pictured, the receiver’s drilled/tapped holes are empty and there is no rear base or one-piece rail present; a conventional two-ring scope cannot be mounted without adding another base or a full rail.

What’s Included
- Traditions Sporter 209 Mag In-Line .50 caliber muzzleloader rifle
- Short Weaver-style scope base installed on barrel (no rear base/one-piece rail included)
- Under-barrel ramrod
- TRUGLO fiber-optic front and rear sights
The Sporter 209 Mag In-Line uses 209 shotgun primers in a bolt-cocking striker system, offering simple, single-shot operation. A manual safety provides on-gun control. The knurled right-side bolt handle offers positive purchase when cocking.
The 22.5 inch blued steel barrel is paired with a 1:28 twist, and the rifle includes an under-barrel ramrod secured by thimbles. Both the receiver and barrel are drilled and tapped for optics, and this example has only a single short Weaver-style base installed on the barrel; the receiver’s drilled/tapped holes are empty. As configured, a conventional two-ring scope will require an additional base or a full rail.
TRUGLO fiber-optic sights are installed from the factory, with a bright front and an adjustable rear on a barrel ramp to aid visibility in varied light. Capacity is one round, consistent with its single-shot muzzleloading design.
The gray synthetic stock features molded checkering for grip, a recoil pad for shoulder comfort, and sling-swivel studs for carry options. Markings indicate manufacture in Spain with U.S. import/branding at Old Saybrook, CT.
