This Christensen Arms CA-15 Recon stands out with a 16 inch carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel over a 416R stainless steel liner, a billet 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set in Bronze Cerakote, and a .223 Wylde chamber with a 1:8 twist. It features a free-float carbon-fiber handguard, ambidextrous safety, and several quality upgrades installed, all made in the USA.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The rifle shows minor scratches and blemishes. The bore is clean and shiny, with some visible blemishing in the chamber. One screw on the installed Vortex scope mount has a broken bit lodged in place and cannot be removed without machining. Sold as-is.

The CA-15 Recon is built around a .223 Wylde chamber with a 1:8 twist, pairing precision-oriented chamber geometry with versatile bullet stabilization. Its 16 inch carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel uses a 416R stainless steel liner and is free-floated under a Christensen Arms carbon-fiber tubular handguard. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and comes with a pronged muzzle device installed.
The billet 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set wears a Bronze Cerakote finish and includes a flat-top upper with forward assist and shell deflector. Receiver markings include "CHRISTENSEN ARMS GUNNISON, UT" and "CA-15 MULTI-CALIBER." The silver-finished bolt carrier carries the Christensen logo, and the rifle accepts STANAG pattern magazines.
Controls and furniture are well-appointed: an ambidextrous safety selector, a Magpul adjustable stock, and a Magpul pistol grip. A short Picatinny rail segment at 12 o'clock on the handguard provides mounting space while preserving the handguard's clean, lightweight profile.
Thoughtful upgrades are already in place. The BCM Gunfighter charging handle is installed, along with a Vortex one-piece cantilever scope mount and a polymer angled foregrip. A low-profile gas block with the Christensen Arms logo and a direct impingement gas system complete the configuration.
