The Mohawk-600 uses the short-action 600-series receiver with the recognizable dog-leg bolt handle and an internal blind magazine rated at 4+1. The receiver is drilled and tapped and currently fitted with a one-piece Weaver/Picatinny-style cross-slot rail with rings, supporting the included optic. Both barrel and receiver are carbon steel with a blued finish.
The barrel measures 18.5 inches and is unthreaded. Notably, the barrel top near the muzzle has small screw holes. The rifle has no factory iron sights installed (no front or rear sight present).
The hardwood stock presents a glossy finish, impressed checkering, and a plain rounded forend with no contrasting tip or spacer, with sling-swivel studs in place. A Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad is installed, yielding a 14.5-inch length of pull.
Markings include the gold-filled "Mohawk-600" rollmark on the left receiver and inspection stamps noted as "K O 72." Production aligns with the 1970s era in the United States. The 600-series was subject to a 1979 safety recall.
The mounted Bushnell Legend scope offers variable 3-9x magnification with a duplex reticle and a 1-inch tube, giving this rifle a complete, ready-to-mount sighting setup on the included base and rings.
