Remington M1903A3 .30-06 Bolt-Action Rifle, WWII 1943, Parkerized, 24 in Barrel
This Remington M1903A3 is a World War II–era .30-06 service rifle manufactured in 1943 and configured with the A3 receiver-mounted aperture sight. It retains a Parkerized finish, a 24-inch carbon steel barrel, and the correct Remington production traits, including "R" stamps on small parts and a barrel marked "R.A." over the flaming-bomb ordnance insignia with a "12-43" date. It presents as a solid, collectible example of the later 1903 pattern with the hallmark A3 updates.
The barrel is correctly marked for late-1943 Remington production, and the rifle features the expected stamped components associated with the A3 configuration. The receiver-mounted aperture rear sight offers windage and elevation adjustment, paired with a protected blade front sight. The stock is a full-length, straight-grip hardwood type with an upper handguard, sling swivels, and a stacking swivel.

What's Included
- Remington M1903A3 rifle chambered in .30-06
Built on the Mauser-pattern turn-bolt action, this M1903A3 uses a 5-round internal staggered box magazine designed for stripper-clip loading. The A3 updates are present, including extensive use of stamped components such as the middle/upper barrel band, while this example retains a milled trigger guard and solid milled floorplate along with the correct milled front band/bayonet lug. The upper handguard extends to the receiver ring, consistent with the A3 configuration.
The sights are the later-war pattern: a receiver-mounted aperture rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation, and a pinned front blade protected by robust shoulders. This setup provides a longer sight radius and the practical controls associated with the A3 design.
Markings are in line with wartime Remington manufacture. The barrel is stamped "R.A." over the Ordnance flaming-bomb with a "12-43" date, and small parts carry Remington "R" marks. The front band/bayonet lug is stamped "H," and the middle barrel band is stamped "U."
The rifle wears a Parkerized finish over carbon steel components, with a hardwood full-length straight-grip stock and an upper handguard. Sling and stacking swivels are installed. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches, and the standard 24-inch barrel is chambered in .30-06 Springfield.
