It is built on S&W’s stainless steel N-frame with an unfluted six-shot cylinder and a stainless finish throughout. The action is double-action/single-action, with an exposed hammer and a smooth-face trigger.
Sighting equipment includes a pinned orange-ramp front sight and a fully adjustable rear sight, offering a clear, practical sight picture on the compact barrel. The revolver wears a Hogue rubber monogrip with S&W medallions for a secure, hand-filling hold.
