The 20-inch steel barrel is a fixed Cylinder Bore with a plain (no rib) profile for simple, consistent performance. It is chambered for both 2 3/4 and 3 inch 12-gauge shells, offering flexibility in load selection. A green fiber-optic front bead provides a bright, easily acquired aiming reference.
The 590’s pump-action uses dual action bars, dual extractors, and an anti-jam elevator for positive cycling and reliable extraction. The tubular magazine includes a removable end cap for clean-out, and capacity is noted at 6+1. The top-tang safety is easy to access and intuitive for a wide range of shooters.
