This DPMS Mod. A-15 is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 carbine from the St. Cloud, Minnesota era, marked on the receiver and built with a 16-inch, 1:9-twist DPMS barrel. It is customized with a two-piece drop-in quad-rail, a CAA collapsible stock, and a vertical foregrip featuring an integrated clamp for certain handheld flashlights. It retains classic A2 sights and muzzle device, and comes with a 30-round USGI-pattern aluminum magazine.
Condition
Overall Condition: Fair condition, showing extensive signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Scratches and blemishes are visible on multiple surfaces. Pitting is present on some smaller components. The bore presents a bright appearance on inspection. The lower receiver engravings have paint infill.

The receiver is marked "D.P.M.S ST. CLOUD, MN U.S.A.," placing it in the pre-2014 St. Cloud production period. The lower is marked "CAL. 223-5.56MM" and has red SAFE/FIRE selector markings.
The DPMS 16-inch carbine-length barrel is roll-marked "DPMS 5.56 1-9" and uses a 1:9 twist suitable for a broad range of 5.56/.223 loads.
The rifle is set up with a two-piece drop-in quad-rail that provides Picatinny mounting at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. A vertical foregrip is installed and includes a clamp designed to mount certain handheld flashlights. No flashlight is provided. The collapsible CAA stock offers adjustable length of pull and the A2-style polymer pistol grip maintains a familiar control interface.
Sighting is classic AR: an A2 front sight post on an A-frame base and an A2 carry-handle rear sight. The A-frame base includes a bayonet lug and a sling swivel, while the upper features a forward assist, case deflector, and ejection-port cover. A manual safety serves as the primary safety feature.
The steel barrel is threaded and capped with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. The direct-impingement, semi-automatic action is paired with an alloy receiver set in a black finish. Typical capacity is 30+1, and this rifle includes one 30-round magazine.
