This example features no external manual thumb safety and uses a hinged trigger with a trigger safety. It has ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release. The slide is factory marked "CAUTION—CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED," indicating there is no magazine disconnect.
The slide wears a matte finish with front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Dovetailed steel sights are installed, with a white dot front. An integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover supports common weapon-mounted accessories.
