The LCR (Lightweight Compact Revolver) design combines a rigid monolithic 7000-series aluminum frame with a durable polymer fire-control housing to minimize weight while maintaining strength. The matte black frame finish complements the black PVD treatment on the cylinder.
Its extensively fluted stainless-steel cylinder keeps mass low without sacrificing durability. The revolver holds 5 rounds of .38 Special +P, measures 6.50 in overall length and 4.50 in height, and weighs 13.5 oz unloaded.
The double-action-only system uses Ruger's friction-reducing cam for a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull, paired with a concealed/internal hammer and a smooth trigger face. The Hogue Tamer Monogrip with finger grooves provides a secure, cushioned hold.
