What's Included
- Original hard case (brown, with handle and brass latches)
The BSS is a steel boxlock with a doll's-head rib extension and an internal mechanical latch in the forend iron for secure assembly. Markings include "MADE IN JAPAN" and the barrel inscription "B-S/S SPECIAL STEEL 12GA - SHELLS 2 3/4". The trigger-guard tang and forend iron carry matching serial numbers.
The 26-inch steel barrels are chambered for 2 3/4-inch shells and wear a solid matted rib with a front bead. Chokes measure Improved Cylinder and Modified by drop-in gauge, and the gun uses automatic ejectors for positive hull ejection.
Controls and operation are straightforward: a single mechanical trigger, a tang safety, and an automatic safety that resets when the action is opened. Handling is aided by a neutral grip with slight right-hand cast-off and a 14.25-inch length of pull.
The blued steel receiver and barrels are complemented by walnut furniture. The stock features a pistol grip, cut checkering, a beavertail forend, and a steel buttplate for durability and a traditional look. Light factory scroll and rosette engraving on the receiver and top lever provides refined visual detail without excess.
