The OSP submodel adds a slide-mounted optic cut with a protective cover plate, giving you flexibility while retaining robust U-Dot iron sights. The front sight uses a tritium dot with a luminescent ring, paired with a tactical-rack U-notch rear with a white outline for fast alignment.
Its micro footprint is anchored by a 3.1 in hammer-forged steel barrel and a Black Melonite-finished slide with front, rear, and top serrations. A dual captive recoil spring with a full-length guide rod helps manage recoil, and the pistol is rated for +P ammunition. A loaded-chamber witness port provides a quick status check.
The black polymer frame uses Springfield’s Adaptive Grip Texture for secure purchase. Practical controls include a left-side magazine release and a striker-fired, locked-breech action with a trigger safety and integral blade safety. An accessory rail is integrated for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
