Factory engraved and built by SKB in Japan, this Ithaca Model 800 is a 20 gauge over/under from the 1960s–1970s with distinctive scroll and game-scene engraving, including a dog head motif on the receiver underside. It features 26-inch roto-forged barrels with a ventilated rib, fixed Improved Cylinder/Modified chokes (IC/M), and 3-inch chambers. A single gold-tone trigger, tang safety, and checkered wood stock with a ventilated recoil pad round out a classic upland configuration.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: The single trigger does not reliably reset via inertia and will need fine tuning by a gunsmith familiar with this platform. The stock and forend have minor scratches and blemishes. The matte finish on the metal shows some scratching. Rust and pitting are present on internal surfaces. The chambers show pitting.

Made in Japan and marked "CUSTOM CRAFTED FOR ITHACA BY SKB," this Model 800 carries clear proof and maker marks, including PROOF TESTED, MADE IN JAPAN, ROTO FORGED, and ITHACA GUN CO., INC., ITHACA, N.Y. The steel receiver is factory engraved with scroll and game scenes, highlighted by a dog head motif on the underside.
The 26-inch roto-forged barrels use a ventilated rib with an orange front bead for a clean sight picture. Chokes are fixed Improved Cylinder and Modified (IC/M), matching the noted "Bores: IMP, MOD." Chambers are 3 inches.
Controls are straightforward: a break-action over/under layout with a single, gold-tone trigger and a tang safety. Capacity is 2 rounds.
The shotgun wears a checkered wood pistol-grip stock with a ventilated recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.5 inches. Production dates to the 1960s–1970s.
