What’s Included
- Manual: Ruger LCR/LCRx instruction manual
The LCR’s double-action-only system uses Ruger’s friction-reducing cam to deliver a smooth, consistent trigger pull. An internal hammer streamlines the profile, and a transfer bar provides a built-in safety mechanism.
The upper frame is made from 7000-series aluminum, while the fire-control housing is a durable glass-filled polymer. These materials keep weight down to 16.6 oz while maintaining a solid feel. Dimensions are compact with a 1.875 in barrel, 6.50 in overall length, 4.50 in height, and approximately 1.28 in width.
The stainless steel cylinder wears a PVD finish and is fluted to reduce weight. It holds six rounds of .22 WMR and uses a left-side push-button latch. The swing-out cylinder has a shrouded ejector rod for protection and clean operation.
Sight setup includes a pinned ramp front sight with a white insert and an integral U-notch rear sight. The Hogue Tamer Monogrip with finger grooves provides secure purchase, and the frame shows the molded Ruger phoenix logo with Hogue Tamer branding on the grip. This revolver is identified by Ruger mfg. part number 5414 and is made in the United States.
