The Glenfield Model 75 operates on a semi-automatic blowback action with right-side ejection and a right-side charging handle. Its under-barrel tubular magazine provides a stated 9+1 capacity and uses a knurled inner-tube handle for loading.
The carbine retains classic rimfire features, including a grooved receiver with a 3/8 in dovetail for rimfire optics and iron sights with a ramp front sight. The included Glenfield 4x15 scope is mounted on tip-off rings and uses a centered reticle with nitrogen-filled, coated lenses.
Built with an 18 in steel barrel and a blued finish, the rifle uses a fore-end barrel band for added rigidity. The length of pull is 13.5 in, contributing to the carbine’s compact handling.
The one-piece hardwood sporter stock presents a Monte Carlo comb and factory sling swivels, complemented by a black buttplate and a walnut-finish appearance. The barrel is rollmarked: "GLENFIELD MOD 75 THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. CAL.
