What’s Included
- DWM P.08 9mm pistol (1917-dated)
- 1x 8-round wood-base P.08 magazine (steel body)
- Bucheimer PM-44 leather holster
Chambered and dated 1917, this wartime DWM P.08 features the correct DWM scroll monogram on the toggle and Imperial German acceptance marks on the right receiver. It is a German Army-issue example from the WWI era with verifiable military inspection and acceptance stamps.
The pistol follows the standard Army pattern with a 4 in (100 mm) barrel and fixed sights, consisting of a front blade and a rear V-notch. It uses the classic short-recoil, toggle-locked, single-action, striker-fired system with round-knurled toggle knobs and a loaded-chamber-indicator extractor.
Finish and parts present well for a service-era Luger: approximately 90% original bluing remains, the small parts show clear straw coloration, and the checkered wood grips are strong with only light handling wear. The bore and rifling are excellent, indicating sharp internal condition. The small parts are numbered with matching last-two digits "07."
Controls and features include a left-side push-button magazine release, a thumb safety, and a single-action trigger. The included wood-base P.08 magazine with a steel body complements the period-correct configuration, and the Bucheimer PM-44 leather holster is included with the sale.
