The Minx is a micro-size semi-auto chambered in .22 Short with a 2.36 inch tip-up carbon steel barrel and a 6+1 capacity. It uses a simple blowback, single-action-only system that keeps operation light and direct.
Construction is focused on lightweight carry and reliability, pairing an aluminum alloy frame with a closed-top slide featuring a right-side ejection port. Fixed sights consist of an integral front blade and a rear notch, and the pistol wears checkered black Beretta-logo grip panels. An external spur hammer provides positive control during manual cocking.
Controls are minimal and intuitive: a heel-type magazine release secures the six-round magazine, and an inertial firing pin serves as the built-in safety feature. This 950 B configuration has no manual safety lever present.
Italian proof marks are present on the left rear of the frame, with a clear "Made in Italy" marking. Slide legends are period-correct: left side "P. BERETTA - Mod. 950 cal. .22 short." and right side "TIPO FLOBERT - MADE IN ITALY." A matching partial serial "3806" is stamped on the barrel lug.
Overall length is approximately 4.7 inches (120 mm).
