Made in Germany, this Mosquito carries German nitro proof and country codes along with the Exeter, NH import mark. The OD Green slide and frame are paired with black textured grip panels bearing the SIG SAUER logo, giving it a cohesive, duty-style look.
The pistol uses a simple blowback, hammer-fired DA/SA system with an external spur hammer. Controls include a slide-mounted manual safety, a decocker, a reversible magazine release, a magazine disconnect safety, and an integral key lock.
Sight regulation is straightforward with a 3-dot contrast setup, a windage-adjustable square-notch rear, and an interchangeable-height front sight. This allows precise zeroing for different rimfire loads.
The standard 3.9-inch non-threaded barrel is fixed to the frame, enhancing consistency for a rimfire trainer. Capacity is 10+1, and the alloy slide over a polymer frame keeps weight manageable while maintaining the familiar P226-style ergonomics at approximately 90% scale.
