- 1x 7-round single-stack steel magazine with six witness holes per side and a short hooked floorplate toe
The Model 70S uses a simple blowback, single-action only system paired with a 3.5 inch fixed barrel. It is a compact, steel-frame pistol with a 7+1 capacity fed by a detachable single-column magazine. An external spur hammer and crisp single-action trigger complete the core operating setup.
Controls include a frame-mounted thumb safety with a red index dot, plus a magazine disconnect safety. The left-side disassembly lever is factory marked "DISASSEMBLY →" for straightforward takedown. The slide features the classic open-top Beretta profile with rear vertical serrations.
Sights are iron: an integral ramped front blade paired with a rear notch. This arrangement provides a clean, durable sight picture appropriate to the pistol’s compact profile.
