The SCAR 16S operates via a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston with a user-adjustable regulator and a rotating bolt. This setup delivers controlled cycling and is paired here with side-mounted charging handle(s). Capacity is 30+1 rounds of 5.56x45mm NATO.
The upper is a monolithic aluminum design with a quick-change barrel interface. A continuous MIL-STD-1913 top rail with T-numbering runs the full length of the receiver, complemented by accessory rails at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for mounting lights, lasers, or other rail-compatible accessories as desired.
The 16.25-inch barrel is threaded at the muzzle and uses a 1:7 twist. Factory folding iron sights are included, with a folding front sight integrated into the gas block and a folding aperture rear sight to provide a low-profile, ready-to-use sighting system.
The stock is side-folding and telescoping with an indexed length-of-pull range from 11.5 to 14 inches. Polymer handguard panels and a polymer pistol grip with molded texturing round out a practical, durable control set.
