Product Description

This 1941 J.P. Sauer & Sohn 38H is a German-made, early-war example in .32 ACP featuring the full slide legend "J.P. SAUER & SOHN SUHL CAL. 7,65" and a right-side "PATENT" marking. It showcases the model's hallmark double-action/single-action system with a combined cocking/decocking lever, an internal hammer, and a matted anti-glare top rib.

Compact and well-balanced, it reflects the 38H's notable place in small semi-auto pistol development during the WWII era.

    What's Included

    • 1x 8-round magazine
    • Black leather flap holster (non-original)

Designed around a simple blowback action, the 38H delivers DA/SA operation via a distinctive lever that both cocks and decocks the internal hammer. This system was forward-leaning for its time and remains a defining feature of the model.

The slide carries rear serrations and a matted anti-glare rib along its full length, with early-war markings: the full left-side legend "J.P. SAUER & SOHN SUHL CAL. 7,65" and a right-side "PATENT" stamp. The front sight is a fixed blade with red paint, paired to a fixed rear notch for a clean, fixed-sight picture.

Construction is all steel, with a blued carbon-steel slide and frame. Controls include a manual safety and a heel-type magazine release. Capacity is 8+1 in .32 ACP, and the fixed 3.4 in barrel supports the compact profile.

Checkered black plastic grips feature Sauer "S&S" medallions, completing the early-war configuration. The red fire dot on the safety and the internal hammer layout are consistent with period-correct details for this 1941 production pistol.
