What's Included
- Smith & Wesson .38 Military & Police Model of 1905 - 4th Change revolver
This full-size K-frame M&P is a pre-Model 10, built with the long-action mechanism and a spurred hammer for smooth double-action and precise single-action work. It is chambered in .38 Special with a six-shot cylinder.
The 4 inch tapered carbon-steel barrel pairs with fixed sights—a half-moon front and topstrap notch rear—for a straightforward, durable sighting arrangement. The non-shrouded ejector rod features a knurled tip consistent with the period.
Construction is all carbon steel with a polished blue finish on the frame and receiver; the cylinder shows a non-matching satin/matte plum-brown refinish consistent with the noted reblue. The revolver retains classic controls, including a checkered cylinder latch, and it wears checkered walnut service stocks with a diamond screw escutcheon and no medallions.
Markings include the S&W circular monogram on the left sideplate and a "MADE IN U.S.A." stamp. The yoke cut shows assembly number B1067. Country of origin is the United States, and the configuration reflects the pre-WWII era 4th Change features.
