What’s Included
- Walther Mod. HP 9mm Luger pistol
- One 8-round detachable steel box magazine (maker's marks not visible)
Built on Walther's DA/SA, recoil-operated locked-breech system with a falling locking block, the Mod. HP delivers the mechanism that became a hallmark of this design family. A slide-mounted safety/decocker provides user control consistent with its period of manufacture.
The open-top slide with vertical rear serrations and a loaded-chamber indicator reflects the early engineering details of this model. Capacity is 8+1, and a lanyard loop is fitted at the heel.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish and black grooved synthetic (Bakelite-type) grip panels. Sights are fixed iron, with a blade front set in the barrel band and a fixed rear notch.
This example is a true commercial Mod. HP, identified by its Zella-Mehlis slide address and Eagle/N proofs. Matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel assembly, and frame further highlight its integrity as a period-correct, WWII-era German production pistol.
