The 16-inch barrel is CrMoV steel, cold hammer forged, chrome lined, and threaded, and it is paired with an A2-style birdcage flash hider. The 1:7 twist rate and clean, mirror bore reflect the barrel markings that note CHF/CL and the twist specification.
Operating on a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a closed rotating bolt, the X95 delivers a compact bullpup configuration with right-side ejection and a left ejection port cover. The charging handle is non-reciprocating and relocatable, and the rifle uses an ambidextrous safety lever. Stated length of pull is 15 inches.
The rifle uses a durable polymer frame, stock, and handguard in Flat Dark Earth with a black upper/rail and buttpad. It includes a fixed sling loop and an integrated buttpad. A full-length top Picatinny rail hosts integrated folding backup iron sights, with a flip-up front post and flip-up rear aperture.
This example accepts NATO STANAG/AR-15 magazines and includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 Window. Markings include "MADE IN ISRAEL," "IWI US – MIDDLETOWN, PA.," and a P proof mark, underscoring its Israeli origin and IWI US importation.
