The Stealth Hunter variant of S&W’s 1854 line brings a black Armornite finish over stainless steel for durability while maintaining a clean, purposeful look. The factory 16.3 inch barrel is threaded 11/16x24 and includes a thread protector, pairing suppression-ready versatility with the strength of 410 stainless construction.
This rifle integrates practical controls and sighting features: an adjustable ghost-ring rear sight, a green fiber-optic front blade, a cross-bolt safety, and a flat-face trigger. A full-length top Picatinny rail extends from the receiver onto the handguard, giving continuous mounting real estate across the top of the rifle.
Customization on this example focuses on ergonomics and control. It is fitted with a Ranger Point Precision modular buttstock featuring an adjustable cheek riser, skeletonized profile, rubber buttpad, QD sling point, M-LOK slots, and a bolt-on accessory panel. Additional Ranger Point hardware, a hammer spur extension, and Magpul M-LOK hand stops on the aluminum handguard enhance leverage and barricade indexing.
Operational details include a removable-style magazine tube with a knurled front cap and a large-loop lever for confident cycling. Capacity is reported at 10 rounds in the tubular magazine, with an approximate overall length of 33.4 inches and about 6.4 lb weight per factory reference. Made in the USA, the Stealth Hunter joined the 1854 family after the line’s 2024 debut, with this variant added in 2025.
