The M18 configuration here combines a 3.9-inch barrel with a carry-length grip module, chambered in 9mm Luger and running a striker-fired action. An ambidextrous manual thumb safety and ambidextrous slide-catch levers provide bilateral controls. With the included extended magazines, capacity is 21+1.
The coyote-tan slide features front and rear serrations for positive manipulation. It is optics cut and ships with a removable two-screw cover plate that integrates the rear sight, allowing the rear sight to remain on the plate until removal. Factory three-dot night sights provide low-light visibility.
The textured polymer grip module offers secure purchase, and the four-slot 1913/Picatinny accessory rail accommodates lights or other compatible accessories. At its core is SIG’s modular P320 removable fire-control unit, enabling the P320’s well-known modularity within the platform.
Markings are consistent and clear: the slide is marked "SIG SAUER M18" along with "MFR: 6ZWB1 PN: 13057088-1"; the barrel hood is marked "9mm x 19" and "6ZWB1"; and the frame is molded "NEWINGTON, NH, USA." The magazines are steel and stamped "MADE IN ITALY." The frame and slide wear matching coyote-tan finishes.
