It features a cold hammer-forged polygonal barrel, an optics-ready slide, and HK's interchangeable grip system for a tailored fit. This example comes with five factory magazines and the original HK case, making it a well-equipped setup in excellent condition.

The VP9SK is the subcompact member of HK's VP series, built in Germany with DE proof marks and HKI Columbus, GA import marking. It retains the platform's fully ambidextrous controls, including slide releases on both sides and a paddle-style magazine release, making it intuitive for right- or left-handed use.
The 3.39 in cold hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling and a 1:9.8 RH twist, a durable setup known for long service life. The clean, mirror-bright bore aligns with the pistol's overall excellent condition.
The optics-ready slide provides flexibility for mounting a red dot using HK adapter plates; this pistol includes one HK optics mounting plate (Plate 4) installed, while the original cover plate is not included. Additional adapter plates are sold separately. Practical features include front and rear cocking serrations and HK charging supports at the rear of the slide for positive manipulation. The pistol ships with iron sights.
HK's polymer frame combines an extended beavertail, wraparound texturing, and an interchangeable grip system to dial in ergonomics. A 3-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover supports compact lights or lasers. Internal safeguards include a firing pin block, trigger safety tab, disconnector, loaded chamber indicator, and disassembly safety. Capacity is 15+1, and this pistol includes three 15-round magazines plus two 13-round magazines.
