This Browning 1911-22 A1 Full-Size is a purpose-built rimfire 1911 scaled to approximately 85% of a standard 1911. It features an aluminum-alloy slide and frame with a matte black anodized finish, a button-rifled, target-crowned steel barrel, and classic A1 trim. It comes with three factory 10-round magazines and the original Browning case and manual.

The 1911-22 A1 is a dedicated rimfire design, not a conversion, giving it reliable .22 LR operation while preserving 1911 ergonomics. Its A1 configuration includes an arched mainspring housing and GI-style sights, with the overall package scaled to about 85% of a traditional 1911 for a rimfire-appropriate footprint.
Construction is centered on an aluminum-alloy slide and frame finished in matte black anodizing, paired with a steel, button-rifled, target-crowned barrel measuring 4.25 inches. The unrailed dust cover maintains the clean, classic 1911 profile.
Operation is single-action only with a straight-blowback system. Safety features include a left-side manual thumb safety and a grip safety. The rowel (Commander-style) hammer and rear slide serrations provide familiar 1911 handling cues.
Sights are fixed GI-style, with a front blade and a drift-adjustable square-notch rear set in a dovetail and secured by a set screw. The slide is marked "1911-22" with the Browning deer head logo, and the chamber hood is marked ".22 L.R." Handsome checkered walnut double-diamond grips complete the classic look.
